Thornfield & Co. was founded in 2005 by Charlotte Thornfield, who after two decades working in London’s competitive property market, wanted to bring that same level of expertise and ambition to the Cotswolds — but with a fundamentally different philosophy.

Charlotte believed that buying or selling a home should feel personal, not transactional. She set up the agency in Stow-on-the-Wold with a simple promise: to know every property intimately, to understand every client’s needs, and to deliver results that the larger chains simply can’t match.

Since then, the team has grown to four — but we’ve kept it small on purpose. Every member of the Thornfield team lives in the Cotswolds, knows the villages inside out, and is genuinely passionate about matching people with their perfect home. It’s this hands-on, boutique approach that has earned us the trust of hundreds of clients and consistent recognition as one of the best agents in the region.
